Restaurant wall graphics – urban, demolished, war torn
This murals were created by comping over 50 images together to form a scenescape depicting post war Beirut (Beyrouth). We used Photoshop to blend buildings and objects together, adding numerous elements such as shelled out cars and dilapidated textures to achieve the look which will eventually epitomise the urban-chic Beyrouths’ brand. Finished in the brand’s signature high-contrast monochrome, we then applied an unsharp mask in Photoshop to give it a gritty/raw appearance.
The images all form part of a much larger series of wall murals to be featured in Beyrouths’ second restaurant soon to be opening in Bedford Hill, Balham in South London (combined, these murals cover an area of approx 46 sq. meters). (Site now open)
