Dogtown London, Street Food Web Design
This was a fast turnaround project with a very limited budget. To save time and the client money this was created using Adobe Muse and utilises a banded layout with parallax scrolling effects on the logo and separator images. It’s designed to be easy to use, minimalistic with a fun look and style that echoes their shabby/urban chic Street Food appearance. We used creative elements from the Dogtown London food stalls, including the graffiti artwork and various camera phone images with the ubiquitous ‘foodie filters’ applied, to help tie the look and feel of the website in with the social media imagery and their various food stalls/pop-up restaurants. Alongside the main site we also created a smaller mobile site which uses a flat layout with the parallax scrolling effects removed (which some mobile devices struggle to display).
